"Rockto is the collest way to grab and share your today's highlight. It's a place where you can have "everything you need to know" from the most update news until the era of back to the future. You can also catch almost every blog that support RSS feed. From Music to Movie, Art to Technology, Celebs to Jokes or maybe create Tags on your own. Rockto aims at spreading any highlights for everyone who have the full spirit of young rocking generation with an estetical way.

What is ROCKTO Feed?

ROCKTO Feed is one of the most powerful features that we have in ROCKTO. This is where you can get a personalized news experience filtered by your friends, the Rockers you follow, and the topics you want to listen. Every one of us consume news in our different ways and so we provide the service that trully provide your needs of information.

How do you determine what is displayed in my Feed?

Stories show up in your Feed after they've been posted or rocked by Rockers that you're following. There will never be a story in my Feed that hasn't been acted on by one of the Rockers you've followed.

Why is my Feed page is blank? How can I get more streams on my Feed?

Your Feed page will be blank or won't have many stories if you are not following any active Rockers.

Using ROCKTO

What is the best way to find interesting stuff?

ROCKTO is organized into groups of categories based on topics (or Station as we call it here). First, go to the Public page, where you'll find the best of the best according to the ROCKTO community in 24 Hours, this Week, and this Month. From there, you can also click around on some of the topics listed at the Station box (Music, Technology, etc.) and you'll see the top stories in each individual category.

What is Rock?

ROCKTO is a place for people (or Rockers as we call it here) to grab and share today's highlights found on the web. From the biggest online destination to the most obscure blog, ROCKTO surfaces the best stuff as rated by our users activity. In here, people collectively determine the value of the content.

How do I report a bug, problem or abuse?

If you encounter a bug, abusive behavior or other problem on the site, please contact us at contact[at]rockto.com to let us know what's happening — ROCKTO's support team is available to make sure the community's concerns are heard and responded to quickly.

How do I follow a Rockers?

Simple! Go to a Rocker's ROCKTOfolio and in the right corner under their profile picture you'll see a follow button. Just click that icon and you're done! Similarly, if you'd like to unfollow someone, click that icon again and we'll remove them from your list.

Can I prevent someone from following me?

There is no way to prevent someone from following you on the ROCKTO

Can I block a user?

You currently cannot block a user; please contact us at contact[at]rockto.com to report an abusive user.

How do I add, edit, delete my profile image?

Easy thing! Make sure you're logged in to ROCKTO and go to your ROCKTOfolio page. Hover at your current profile photo and 'change' button will appear. Click it and you can delete & upload a new one from this page.

How can I report an abusive user?

For the time being, please contact us at contact[at]rockto.com to report a user. Please provide the user's username and any relevant links.

How can I change my username?

First, go to your settings page. On the Account tab, enter your new username. Make sure your preferred username is not already in use and click save. It's just that easy.

I tried to log in and was told that my account is invalid. What's up?

You'll need to contact us as contact[at]rockto.com from the email address associated with your username so we can take a look into your account history.

How can I close my ROCKTO account?

Go to settings page & click the deactivate my account link. Please note that your account's submissions and comments will not be removed, per our Terms of Service, but that content will be anonymized and not associated with your username.

What information does ROCKTO access when I connect a 3rd party (Twitter, Facebook) account?

We never see any of your personal information when we connect to one of these services. All connections are handled via the respective service's API and each service will request your explicit permission before providing us with the information we need to see if any of your connections or friends also have accounts on ROCKTO. Once we've received that information, you can choose which of your friends you'd like to follow on ROCKTO.

I entered all my log in information from Twitter and Facebook, but ROCKTO indicates I have 0 contacts in all three.

If your contacts aren't listed here, it's likely that your friends haven't signed up for ROCKTO yet. Why don't you invite your friends, you don't want them to miss the fun right?

Is it OK to have more than one account on ROCKTO?

Well, that depends. If you'd like to maintain a couple of accounts for different business or personal use, that's fine. However, please don't use multiple accounts to ROCKTO the same content – that goes against the spirit of our community.

Will my activity on the new ROCKTO show up in search engines?

Yes. Most of your activity on ROCKTO is public. Since ROCKTO is crawled by search engines, your ROCKTO activity is crawled as well.

The email address I used when I registered doesn't work anymore, and I can't access my account. What do I do?

If the email address you used when registering is out of date, contact us at contact[at]rockto.com and we'll do our best to get you set up.

Can I choose which emails I receive from ROCKTO?

While we don't want to bog down your inbox unnecessarily, we do, by default, notify users when certain events happen on ROCKTO, such as when another user follows you. Manage which notification emails you receive by logging in and heading over to your settings.

Currently, My account is already connected to Twitter. But my timeline doesn't show any updates from my Rockto activity, What's wrong?

Probably, there's a problem on the service. To fix this, disconnect you twitter from rockto (see "How can I disconnect Facebook or Twitter from Rockto?"). After that, Re-login to Rockto using your Twitter account and press allow from Twitter page.

Why do I keep sending updates to Twitter and Facebook everytime I Rocked a post?

By default, if your account is connected to twitter or facebook, you'll be sending updates to those services everytime you Rock a post. But you can disable this feature if you want. To do this, go to your Profile Page. Click on connection tab. Click to uncheck the service.

How can I disconnect Facebook or Twitter from ROCKTO?

Twitter: Go to your Twitter settings (make sure you're logged in, of course) and revoke access for the " ROCKTO by Rockto.com". Doing so will remove the connection between your ROCKTO account and Twitter.

Facebook: Log in to Facebook and navigate to your allowed applications list. Once you're there, you'll see an entry for "ROCKTO". Click the "x" to the far right and follow the onscreen prompts to revoke access.

If, at any time, you want to reconnect one of these services, simply login back to ROCKTO and use the service you want to reconnect. We'll walk you through it from there.

Content: submissions, Rocks, and comments

Can I edit or delete a comment I made?

You cannot edit your comment after you submit it. However, you will be able to delete it at anytime. If your're comment violates our Terms of Service we will have to remove it without notification.

How do I report a bad post to you?

If you see an item on ROCKTO that you believe violates our Terms of Service, just click the "Report" link under the item's description. We'll take it from there.

How can I delete a story I submitted?

You can delete a story you've submitted earlier. We do reserve the right to remove content that is determined to be in violation of our Terms of Service at any time and at our discretion.

How can I edit a story I submitted?

Please contact us at contact[at]rockto.com to have us make changes to a story. Be sure to include the ROCKTO URL of the story you want to edit as well as the updated title, category, or description. Please note, we can only edit submissions at the request of the original submitter.

I have a story that I want to submit, but there is no topic for it. Can I submit it?

You can submit it under the best possible topic match OR... You can ADD your own tags.

Is it OK to submit a duplicate story?

Submitting duplicate stories is so not cool. Of course, there will be similar stories from different sources that are posted to ROCKTO. In those cases, we let our users determine whether a story is a duplicate or if it offers a fresh perspective.

Where is the un-Rock button?

We haven't implemented this feature on ROCKTO. If you'd like to request it, please contact us.

Someone's being rude to me in comments, what do I do?

While it might be tempting to hurl back an insult, that just adds fuel to the fire so let us deal with abusive commenters. If someone is being lame, grab the comment permalink (right click on the timestamp beneath the commenter's name and choose "copy link"), contact us at contact[at]rockto.com with the link and we'll look into the situation. Can I submit porn to ROCKTO?

Submitting porn to ROCKTO is a violation of our Terms of Service. While porn can sometimes be hard to define, we go by the mantra, "You'll know it when you see it." Please be respectful.

I added my feed, but it didn't work. What happened?

Of course you can add the plain URL of the site or blog, but this won't work all the time. To make sure it'll work, just add the RSS Feed address;
